The restaurant

Beppe Battaglino, as all histrions, loves strong colours, the high contrast. On the main restaurant door carpet since ever he thinks to read: "Here reality stops and starts a fantastic world" signed by Woody Allen. This is a fantastic world, and can be acheved by the big banner coming from the Scala Theater of Milano (Theter and Opera are family passions) signed by Luciano Pavarotti, showing itself in the main entrance. As arrived in the dining room, its easy be covered by chats, glass tinkling, immenses smells of ravioli, cooked and roasts, sound of corks outing from dolcetto, barolo and barbera. Eaters are kidnapped by Beppe music passion and is so easy hear his voiceù singing Verdi or Puccini, while deserving dishes. Then he stops and will say some short amazing story. Or stop in a suddenly silence as escaping from the place, as be on the Albenga seaside walking, or in whatever place of the Langa. Or, grumbling about who knows what future catastrophers. But all always with his comic style which gets more pleasant the dishes. It's always Beppe imagining to manage whole the scene, E’ sempre lui a as a director, or like an anchorman at last seconds scared by unexpected. "This is my small theather, how I can do without it ?" he sighs. A small theather also for best friends, that dif, with Beppe as the first actor, the virtual site for clubs and so original associations.
